Course Overview

This is the Second Course in the series provided by Everyday Inclusion, we hope that you enjoyed Understanding Racism 1, which is a prerequisite for this course. 

In our first course in the series, Understanding Racism 1you would have learned that Interpersonal Racism is the symptom of a more fundamental system of racism.

In Course 2 we learn that the fundamental racism in institutional policies and practices is what routinely produces racially inequitable outcomes, often without individual intent or malice.

Gloria will present the online content via video. She will provide informative discussion and direct you through a series short presentations supported by material sourced from around the world.

Your workbook contains additional reading material and short activities for you to take notes and engage in the discussion. 

At the end of this course, participants will have a greater awareness and understanding of Structural, Institutional and Systemic Racism, how to identify them is society.
